Club Benchmarking EMEA has appointed Chris White as UK Sales Manager. Joining in early 2027, Chris will support the company’s UK growth and help more clubs use data and insight to strengthen decision-making, improve performance and plan confidently for the future. The appointment marks the next stage in Club Benchmarking EMEA’s expansion of its support for club managers, boards and committees. Chris brings first-hand experience of the opportunities and pressures facing golf clubs, combining a strong understanding of club operations with a practical, member-focused approach to leadership. Chris is currently General Manager at Hunstanton Golf Club, where he has led significant improvements in financial management, governance, strategic planning and the member experience. His achievements include establishing financial self-sufficiency through subscription revenue, securing additional income for future investment and delivering major capital projects, including a full clubhouse refurbishment and the construction of a halfway house. He also played a pivotal role in hosting the 119th R&A Women’s Amateur Championship in 2022, showcasing Hunstanton on the international stage. In addition, he strengthened reporting and financial oversight, modernised the club’s management systems and developed teams across its operations. This experience gives Chris a strong understanding of how reliable information supports better decision-making. In his new role, he will build relationships with clubs across the UK and help leadership teams get the most from Club Benchmarking EMEA’s full range of services. These include benchmarking, asset evaluation, capital strategy modelling, strategic planning support and member surveys, all designed to inform investment priorities and strengthen long-term sustainability. Chris’s connection to golf extends beyond his professional career. A plus-handicap golfer and Captain of the Northamptonshire Men’s First Team, he also serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Greens at his home club, Peterborough Milton Golf Club. Together, these roles bring player, manager and board-level perspectives to his work. Chris is a member of both the Golf Club Managers’ Association (GCMA) and the Club Management Association of Europe (CMAE). He holds the CMAE Club Management Diploma and has completed Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the Management Development Programme, together with its Golf Management programme. He also holds a BSc in Business Management from the University of East Anglia. The appointment reinforces Club Benchmarking EMEA’s commitment to combining industry insight with practical club management experience.
